We just completed our Fall workparty this weekend, thanks to all who came out and helped get the club ready for winter. We had about 10 people and 7 kinds of chili, all of which went down easy. We were lucky to have great weather to work in.
- Rebuilding the path
- Piling up the driftwood
- Chili time
- Moving a bunch of rock
- Painting the Arms
- Lee cleaning off the ramp
This was an eventful year, with a lot of Capital projects: We redid the septic system, replumbed the head and entire waterline, bought a chase boat and added the Arrrr Lounge. We also added a router for Wifi at the dock and generally spruced the place up. Next year we would like to add a boat lift to the lower yard, which has been a long time dream to help people work on their boats. Thanks to all the officers and members for their hard work this year!
We elected a new slate of Officers for 2016:
Rob Hatcher – Commodore
Bill Miller – Vice Commodore
Alan Cannon – Purser
Doug Roberts – Racing Chair
Gary Guss – Scribe
Steve Stahl – Yardmaster
Frank & Carol Kersting – Social Chair
Don’t forget to attend our Christmas party on December 5th, 6:30PM at Cambridge Market for $25/person..
Details will be coming soon on the Commodores reception in January.
