Ahoy Sailor,

Join us for the annual Blessing of the Fleet this Saturday, May 2nd at 11am. Vice Commodore Cook will officiate and needs to head south by noon so we will not be dragging an anchor on the starting line.

The club is in beautiful shape, thanks to the effort put forth at two successful work parties by so many of our members. Thank you all for pitching in! As a reminder, all members are supposed to help with the upkeep of the club. If you haven’t attended one of the spring work parties, next time you’re at the club please reach out to Tom or myself about how you can help.

The rest of May will have to be planned on the fly as we anticipate the lake level rising to something other than winter pool. It’s dinghy weather at least!
If the water gets high enough to launch the RC boat we will have the Huddleston Cup this month. We will let you know!

If you have not renewed your membership, or are in arrears, be on the lookout for snail mail soon. Membership fees are due in January and we don’t send “bills” until you are drifting out of the channel. Download the renewal and liability release forms and figure your dues, all information is on the forms. The purser can be reached at poyc.treasurer@gmail.com if you have questions.
