Shiver me timbers! Yaaarrrrr! It’s that time o’ year again, we’ll
keel-haul ye! Time t’ put on yer most festive Corsair garb and celebrate
th’ Christmas season. th’ party will be Dec. 8 at th’ Episcopal Church
1215 State Street Bowlin’ Green, KY. Festivities begin will be 6:00 till
10:00. Brin’ an appetizer t’ feed about 10 pirates. Club will provide grog
and ale. Cost be $10 per Corsair t’ cover cost o’ thee hall. Dress be
Christmas casual. RSVP t’ assure we have enough grog or ya’ll walk the
plank!

Club Dues for 2019 should be paid in the month of January. To save postal expense, we won’t be sending notices through the mail. Please make a note of this. We will be sending reminders through email and also post on the Facebook and Webpages as we did last year. Paying promptly helps the club by providing income early in the year for improvements and expenses.

November 10th Saturday at around 10AM.

You know the Drill ! The List is long and the need is great! Come out and let’s get the Club ready for Winter. Please bring yard cleanup tools, like rakes, brooms, blowers or what have you. If you want to compete in the Chili Cook-off, make a batch of your best stuff and bring it. A Fabulous Trophy will go to the winner, I will be bringing chili with a secret ingredient this year (no, not goat). We will post the list of duty items here, when I get the information from our Yardmaster. Thanks and I hope we all have a good time and a productive day. The fun starts at 10am. Maybe bring some stuff that goes good with chili or a dessert like Rum baba or something.

Join us for the Pirates’ Plunder on Oct. 27.   Skippers meeting at 11:00 am with racing soon after  And, in the spirit of the Halloween season, we are encouraging members to let their inner pirate out to play  for the evening!  Pirate garb encouraged with best dressed getting a bottle of grog. Land-lubbers will walk the plank, into the icy cold Barren. Hope you’ll get your eye patch and peg-leg out and meet up with the other swashbucklers!  Dinner around 5:00 pm. We will provide meat and members can bring sides.

October 13th and 14th .. Saturday Breakfast at 9:30AM with asymmetrical pancakes by Leah.and mimosas. 10:30AM Skippers meeting with racing after, $25 race fee for skippers, $10 for crew and non racers. Dinner will be around 5pm. Troy is doing meats and Leah will have baked beans and slaw.. Please bring a dessert.. Live music on Saturday.. More later
