You know the Drill ! The List is long and the need is great! Come out and let’s get the Club ready for Winter. Please bring Yard cleanup tools, like rakes, brooms, blowers or what have you. If you want to compete in the Chili Cook-off, make a batch of your best stuff and bring it. Greg Glass has been winning this thing a lot and he needs some competition for the throne. We will post the list of duty items here, when I get the information from our Yardmaster. Thanks and I hope we all have a good time and a productive day. The fun starts at 10am.
Pirates Plunder October 22nd and 23rd.
Race around the Three Islands of the Caribarren! This is the One for Rum Loyal to Fun! The last regatta of the year.
See the Fall Color and experience the Lake the way it’s meant to be sailed on a 9.5 mile cruise that leaves you feeling like you’ve been somewhere and done something! Be ready to leave the dock at HIGH NOON and plunder the islands. Camp overnight if you dare!
Sunday we run again and loot what the others may have missed!
This is one you’ll remember for sure…

POYC 50th – Message from the Commodore
A group of sailors sport a range of POYC shirts from years gone by. The POYC First 50 years celebration was a funtastic event that was attended by more than forty members! Frank and Carol Kersting threw down a most memorable event that was highlighted by Alan and Denese Janes performing live after an excellent lasagna dinner. The bonfire was welcome on the chilly evening that saw a reunion of many members we haven’t seen in a while!
We look forward to the next 50 years sailing on the beautiful Barren River Reservoir!
