Pirates Plunder Regatta
This Saturday October 31st – Skippers at 10:30 and Racing soon after – With the lake dropping this may be the last regatta for the year! Supposed to be great weather, come out and enjoy it while it lasts/

The main course will be a traditional 18th century ship’s fare. The wardroom will have beef burgandy and soft tack. The sailors before the mast will have ship’s biscuit and split pea soup. Please bring sides and desserts. ALSO, IF YOU VOLUNTEERED TO BRING A SLOWCOOKER, PLEASE HAVE IT AT THE CLUB BEFORE 10AM, OR BEFORE THE CAPTAIN’S MEETING FOR THE REGATTA.

NoName Regatta and June Meeting – Saturday June 13th
Saturday Race!. Race time will start at about noon. If we have enough participation, and or desire, the race will carry on to Sunday. The race will be no charge, and there will be no prizes. We ask only that anyone participating to please bring a side for the potluck dinner/ meeting. We will welcome of course all members, and any non members who wish to attend. We will also do our best to allow for social distancing to accommodate anyone who is concerned.
POYC TRIVIA NIGHT by ZOOM Meeting! MAY 16th
If your mind is starting to go wild from the cabin fever, there is nothing better than hanging out with your fellow captains and competing of your knowledge of sailing lore. POYC will be having a virtual trivia night on May 16th at 7:00PM Central time so that you can prove that you are the best on topics like seamanship, history, pop culture, and jargon. Arrrg.
Here’s how it will work:
You may compete individually or form a team. Everyone will gather on a Zoom call (information is below), so that we can catch up and judge each others quarantine haircuts. Each round of questions will be read, and each team will submit their answers by email within the given time. Whoever has the most points at the end will triumph.
